ASSOCIATION ACTIVITIES

With the orientation to support students to develop comprehensively in academic capacity and social skills, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine constantly supports students to participate in several meaningful activities:

Students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine are supported by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FVM), College of Agriculture (CoA), Can Tho University (CTU) to participate in art and sports talent contests, competitions to help students develop comprehensively in academics and social activities. FVM’s students have continuously achieved high achievements for consecutive years from 2020 to now such as the third place of the whole delegation of Singing and Sports Competition 2023; the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in football and volleyball competitions of the Traditional Sports Competition in CoA. Many individuals are core members of the arts and sports teams of CoA.

Veterinary students also actively participated in competitions launched by the Youth Union of the CoA, CTU such as Olympic Policy contests, Ho Chi Minh Thought, English contest... and got the good performance.

Students of FVM participate in social charity activities such as visiting heroic Vietnamese mother, voluntary blood donation. Every year, more than 100 veterinary students participate in Voluntary Blood Donation, contributing hundreds of blood units.

Moreover, students of FVM regularly participate in career orientation activities, meeting companies, interviewing for recruitment under the support of FVM and associated companies and businesses.

 Veterinary students attended the exchange and enrollment of the Shape Your Own Future (SYOF) 2023 program organized by Vietnam DeHeus Company in collaboration with the FVM and the FAH, CoA.

FVM’s students are also given many opportunities to apply for international scholarships for higher studies in Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Germany, Hungary... as well as the opportunity to join in the international student exchanges at World-renowned universities in Japan (UTokyo, TUAT, HU), Thailand (CU, KU), Malaysia (UPM), Taiwan (NTU),...
