DORMITORY INFORMATION
Dormitory (KTX) Can Tho University - a reliable address for students to live, study and practice with peace of mind. With a capacity of more than 10,000 students, located in Zone 2 and Hoa An area (Phung Hiep - Hau Giang), which is a very convenient place for living, studying and studying at the University. The dormitory is surrounded by a fence and has a professional security force 24/24.
The dormitory for students of the University currently consists of 3 areas:
Dormitory-A: Located in the campus of Zone II, CTU (Road 3/2, Xuan Khanh ward, Ninh Kieu district - TPCT), capable of arranging 4,000 full-time undergraduate students. Currently, Dormitory-A consists of residential blocks: 02 5-storey buildings, each row can accommodate about 500 students; 12 rows of 2 floors, each row can accommodate about 180 students; 15 blocks of one-story buildings.
Dormitory-B: 2 2 Including 08 5-storey blocks (with a total construction area of 6,000 m2 (total floor area of 35,000 m2), belonging to the type of cone. civil service level III. Total initial investment is expected to be nearly 250 billion VND). By design, each block has 78 rooms; Each room has 08 students (installing 04 bunk beds). The total capacity of KTX-B is nearly 5,000 students.
Dormitory-C (Hoa An): Scale of one ground, two floors with a total usable floor area of nearly 2,700 m2. Designed with comfortable facilities, the completed project has provided accommodation with a number of 35 rooms to meet the learning and living needs of 300 students. Up to this point, the total capacity of KTX-C is about 500 students. In addition, there is a dormitory of the National Defense Center, serving students studying this course at the Center.
In addition, the dormitory areas are surrounded by a fence system, a system of parking lots, canteens, supermarkets, telecommunications, ATMs, etc. To stop improving the quality of student services, the school invests in Modern equipment and computerization in the fruit (access control system of dormitory gates, CCTV, ...) and use of management software (online), facilities (WIFI...)
Facilities for boarding students:
- Wifi connection speed is 14Mbps / 14Mbps (download / upload), free bike parking.
- All dormitories have mini supermarkets, canteens, and garages. Canteen, canteen: Serving students with many prices for students to choose depending on their needs, ensuring nutrition and absolute hygiene and food safety (certified by the functional police of Can Tho city. ) with many prices for students to choose depending on their ability and needs
- To participate in academic clubs, cultural activities, arts, physical training and sports, soft skills training.

The dormitory has a room type that is allowed to cook, with a minimum capacity of 03 students.
Dormitory fee from 120,000 - 270,000 VND/student/month (excluding electricity and water fees). Students can choose appropriate according to their needs and economic conditions.
Students in the social-policy category, students with difficult circumstances:
+ Type of layout 08 students/room (04 bunk beds). This is the main service object of the dormitory. The school ensures to meet the accommodation needs of students in this category.
Students stay according to their needs (corresponding to different fees, if the dormitory has room):
- Zone A:
+ Type of layout 03 students/room (allowed to cook)
+ Type of layout 04 students/room (cooking is allowed );
+ Type of layout 05 students / room (allowed to cook );
+ Type of layout 06 students / room (allowed to cook );
+ Type of layout 08 students/room (allowed to cook );
- Zone B:
+ Type of layout 04 students/room (04 bunk beds);
- Students pay electricity and water according to actual usage index. Electricity and water prices are calculated according to household consumption prices.
- If you park your motorbike or motorbike, you must pay an additional fee for parking according to regulations.
All students wishing to live in the dormitory will be arranged to live immediately after submitting the admission application.
