Dear WANASEA partners,

Warmest greetings again from RULE, Phnom Penh, at the occasion of Pchum Benh Holidays in Cambodia (= Cambodian religious festival when Cambodians pay their respects to deceased relatives of up to 7 generations : quite a lot of people to honour).

NOVEMBER 26^th – DECEMBER 1ST

We are pleased to come back to you regarding the first training session in the framework of WP 3 WANASEA. The training session 1 “Genesis of research: science, knowledge and society” will last 4 days and half, from Monday 26^th of November to Saturday 1^st of December (only the morning). 

As stated before, Wednesday 28^th of November will be a day off for the trainees. Indeed, the Project Member Board (PMB) annual meeting will be organized this day.

TERMS OF REFERENCE FIRST SESSION

Please find enclosed the ToR for this first Training Session attached (before, you received the ToR of the whole training session cycle)

Trainees should be young professionals (under 40), who can communicate well in the English language and who demonstrate a strong interest for developing research and teaching innovation. Their profiles should be complementary enough so that as a whole, they will constitute a team of researchers and staff who are able to boost research activities and quality of teaching.   

Each partner can/shall send up to 5 applications and CREED / WANASEA Management Team / RULE will select them in order to respect a proper balance Administrative / Teaching Staff and a multi-disciplinary approach.

CALENDAR:

From 2nd to 22 October: call for application open

24 October: Wanasea’s members send to RULE/CREED up to 5 applications 

November: selection of the trainees and beginning of the pre-class activities

As a reminder, every partner has the budget to select and send 2 staff members to this training + 1 staff for the PMB who can attend the training session. 

COLLECTION of CV + COVER LETTER

Each partner is in charge of collecting applications from its candidates. The application must contain a CV + a one-page cover letter.
