Quality Assurance Inspector (Packinghouse/Field-based)

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Position Overview

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our Quality Assurance team in Vietnam and Cambodia. The main responsibility of this role is to ensure that the quality of our bananas consistently meets Del Monte standards. This will be achieved through regular on-site inspections, conducting thorough quality checks, and maintaining close collaboration with both growers and packinghouse teams.

Our Vietnam main office is in Ho Chi Minh City, and our farm locations are in Long An, Tay Ninh, Binh Phuoc for the lowland and Pleiku, Gia Lai and Buon Ma Thuot, Dak Lak for the highland.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections and spot-checks at packinghouses and in the field
• Inspect banana, packing quality, and sampled boxes compliance with company quality standards
• Identify, correct, or reject non-conforming fruit, and report findings
• Monitor and record reefer van loading and dispatch details
• Provide clear and timely quality feedback to packinghouse supervisors and processors
• Apply work instructions and operational controls in line with Quality Management System standards
• Maintain inspection records to ensure traceability and compliance with quality and ISO requirements

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance or fresh produce operations is an advantage
• Fresh graduates with a background in Agriculture-related fields are also welcome to apply
• Basic computer and documentation skills are required
• Medium to high level of English proficiency is a must
• Holds a valid motorcycle or vehicle driver’s license
• Willingness to travel
