We are pleased to announce that International Tropical Fruits Network (TFNet) in partnership with the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI) and Fruit Tree Research Institute, Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences (GDAAS), China will be organizing an online International Workshop on 'Management of Bacterial Diseases of Banana' on Tuesday, 29 November at 14.00 pm (Malaysia UTC +8).
The objectives of the workshop are :
- To share information among researchers and stakeholders on the recent status of banana bacterial diseases in Asian and African countries, current research focus to elucidate pathogens and disease characteristics and management strategies to combat the diseases;
- To discuss on research priorities and possibilities of joint projects and collaborations among research institutions and stakeholders; and
- To enhance networking among those working on banana bacterial diseases.
The workshop is open to all researchers, growers and other stakeholders working on the management of banana bacterial diseases. In this regard, it gives us great pleasure to invite you to participate in the workshop.
