Dear colleagues,

Greetings from the Kyoto Institute of Technology (KIT), Japan. We wrote to you back in February regarding the Kyoto Startup Summer School (KS3 for short) and for those that have spread the word, thank you very much. We have recently closed the early application round and have gotten applicants from around the world.

We would like to inform you that the regular applications are now open it would be greatly appreciated if you could get the word out to your students.

* Invitation to Kyoto Startup Summer School 2019 *

Kyoto Startup Summer School (KS3 for short), Japan's most intense and international summer program on entrepreneurship and innovation is back!

KS3 is a two-week program with a variety of modules (workshops, lectures, mixers, panel discussions, company visits, etc.) taught and facilitated by established entrepreneurs, practitioners, venture capitalists, and academics coming from around the world. This is your opportunity to learn hands-on entrepreneurial skills and experience startup life. KS3 is based in the historical city of Kyoto, the cultural heart of Japan with over 2000 temples and shrines. In addition to being the center of tourism in Japan, Kyoto is an important hub for the information technology and electronics industry. This is the city where alongside traditional craft workshops, one can find world class companies and startups. In the last two years, 61 participants from 25+ countries joined KS3 making it the most international program to date. Come join the global community this summer!
