   The College of Agriculture (CoA) has many cooperation activities with foreign and domestic organizations and enterprises to develop products and test solutions for agricultural production in the Mekong Delta. These activities have supported the application of teaching contents and scientific research into production practice. Followings are a few examples of the cooperative programs of CoA. The staff from the Department of Food Technology have collaborated with Takesho Food & Ingredients Corporation, Japan to do research about the application of extrusion technology in food processing. The Deparment of Soil Science has cooperated with a number of fertilizer companies, namely Sirius Minerals (United Kingdom), Uralchem ​​(Russia), Danlian (Taiwan), PetroVietnam CaMau Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (Vietnam), PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (Vietnam) and Binh Dien Fertilizer Jointstock Company (Vietnam) about the application of fertilizers for specific crops and soil groups. Our staff from the Department of Animal Science and Department of Veterinary Medicine have worked with De Heus (Netherlands), CP (Thailand), Cargill (USA), Greenfeed (Vietnam) and Vemedim (Vietnam) to do research about the use of feed and medicine for livestock.

   CoA is one of the leading units of Can Tho University in publishing and disseminating the research results to the scientific community and enterprises. Every year, many scientific articles are published in prestigious domestic and foreign specialized journals. In addition, CoA members also actively participate in conferences and have many articles published in the proceedings of domestic and international conferences.

  In the coming years, the key orientations in scientific research and technology transfer of CoA will focus on the following areas: (1) Promoting the development of sustainable agriculture, organic agriculture, smart agriculture, urban and sub-urban agriculture; (2) Raising the value of agricultural products; (3) Conservation and exploitation of genetic resources of native plants and animals (4) Research on zoonotic diseases, antibiotic resistance and veterinary hygiene in animal production; (5) Exploiting and effectively using natural resources for agricultural production in order to adapt to climate change.
